Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO world heritage site is one of the famous attractions of Delhi. It is often considered the precursor to the Taj Mahal built in the 16th century for the Mughal Emperor Humayun.
The wife of the second Mughal Emperor Humayun, Hamida Bega Begum commissioned the tomb to house the remains of the emperor.
